This powerful reel is built on a lightweight, corrosion-proof frame with a machined and anodized aluminum spool for long-term durability; its Wide Mouth levelwind provides proper clearance for copper line. The heavy-duty internals incorporate our Mechanical Stabilizing System technology to ensure precise alignment at all stress points, with oversized, machine-cut brass gears that are fully self-lubricating and full Speed Lock system. The smooth 2+1 ball bearing drive includes dual instant anti-reverse with automatic spool engagement; the rugged multi-disc Carbonite drag system provides up to 40 lbs of drag power.
